Part 2 of the Oh Freedom! High School is 36-weeks of U.S. History lessons for teens (8th-12th grade). Students work independently to take deep dives into understanding history from the perspective of Indigenous Peoples and African Americans.
In Part 2 students continue reading Stamped from the Beginning (Kendi), in addition to Caste: The Origins of Our Discontent (Wilkerson), "All The Real Indians Died Off" (Dunbar-Ortiz and Gilio-Whitaker) and literature that coincides with each era studied, building an understanding of the people and events who built and continue to influence the country we experience today.
